Dublin, Ireland
I spent a week during the holidays traveling with friends in The Republic of Ireland
First stop: Dublin
For me, Dublin was a bright introduction to the kindness and joy that fills Ireland and the Irish people.

For me, Dublin was a bright introduction to the kindness and joy that fills Ireland and the Irish people.
The first place we had to go see was the famous Temple Bar! We heard mixed reviews but it ended up being a lot of fun with a huge crowd and loud music. The only thing not fun was going from Spanish prices to Irish prices.
I felt a lot of US influence in Dublin, maybe from all of the flags! It reminded me of Chicago, because of the large Irish presence there. Christmas lights were decorating every building and live music poured out of every other pub.
The decorations inside of The Temple Bar…
You knew this was coming… another bird! The seagulls in Dublin are SO LOUD!!! But they were very charismatic, especially this guy who was literally on top of the world.
My friends Nadia and Sydney in love lane…
Love Lane was so cute with all of it’s messages! If I go again, I’ll have to find mine from this last trip.
This is the Aran Wool store, with handmade sweaters from the Aran Island sheep. Everything was so soft. I didn’t end up getting anything except for fingerless gloves, but there was a princess-like cape I still think about!
